JWA Shopfitting Solutions Ltd is a new business set up in January 2019 utilising the background and experience of its principles Jason Lewis and Andy Paxton. We have experience working with UK and European based clients such as Beaverbrooks, Omega, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Kuoni travel, Ed’s Easy Diner and many others. Our first year of trading has been well beyond our expectations with amazing support from our previous clients.
Jason and Andy have worked in the shopfitting industry throughout their careers and have extensive experience working for many blue-chip retail and commercial clients. We operate throughout the UK acting as the main contractor bringing together and coordinating the necessary skills and specialist contractors to provide a ‘second to none’ level of service to our clients. We are always keen to be involved in the various projects as early as possible so that we can add value in terms of practical design and best value choice of materials and construction methods. We can provide a ‘design and build’ service to develop the clients concept design to the detailed drawings required for all statutory & landlord approvals and construction.

Jason initially worked for Dunn & Co. Shopfitters Ltd achieving his apprenticeship over a four-year period. Jason then moved to Edinburgh and for six years worked for a shopfitting company on hotels and bars, he then worked self employed in Dublin for a year in which time he worked in the airport, various hotels and shops in the surrounding area. From 1999, he worked in London as a sub-contractor for Davis Shopfitters, working in places such as Harrods and Mappin and Webb Jewellers. In 2004, Jason joined Newman Scott Ltd as a Site Manager working closely with the projects team, client and centre management maintaining the highest of standards and always completing projects on time. Jason has an NVQ level 3 in site management and is a CSCS gold card holder.
Andy has worked in the shopfitting Industry since leaving school, initially serving a craft apprenticeship in shopfitting joinery, thereafter, working as a bench joiner, site joiner and site foreman for a period of nine years before moving into the office as an estimator. Following a period of two years in estimating he started to carry out Contract Management work including a 130 store roll out for the menswear brand John Collier. He was made a company director in 1986 aged 29 and has served in this role until 2019 including two periods as Managing Director. Specialising in Contract Management particularly large & complex projects throughout the UK for clients such as Beaverbrooks, Hugo Boss, Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Kuoni Travel, Harrods, Selfridges, Heathrow Airport and many others. Served as a National Council Member & Regional President of the National Association of Shopfitters, Andy is a holder of SMSTS site safety plus certificate, IOSH safety for senior executives and is a CSCS black card holder.
Jayne joined North Yorkshire police in 2009 after having already worked for the same force for four and a half years as a civilian on the Enquiry desk. Jayne was a Response and Reassurance police officer, answering emergency and non-emergency calls on a daily basis and dealt with investigations such as Burglary, Stolen Vehicles, Domestic Assaults and various other types of crime. Jayne has spent several years in prior roles such as Sales Administration, Food Sales, Housing Officer and Customer service roles.
Dean initially started an aprenticeship in joinery 17 years ago in a bespoke furniture company, since then his role developed into insurance work for Lloyds TSB & Halifax. In 2016 Dean went into the shopfitting trade and advanced to the role of site manager, clients included Harvey’s, Bensons for Beds, EE, North Face, Tesco and then onto larger projects such as Leicester City Football Stadium, Beaverbrooks, and Natura Bisse Spa at Westfield London. Dean works very well with our clients and all others involved in the projects. Dean’s accreditations include CSCS Gold card holder, NVQ 1,2 & 3 Bench Joinery, NVQ 1 & 2 Site Joinery, SMSTS Site Management, Level 3 First Aid, Asbestos awareness, Manual Handling, IPAF and PASMA.
Dave served a joinery apprenticeship with Shepherd Construction starting in 1981 where he achieved an advanced craft certificate. In 1985, for a three year period, he worked in the Antarctic as part of a 20 man team constructing a new pre-fabricated research base. Dave joined Newman Scott Ltd in 1998 where he worked for a twenty year period on numerous retail fit out projects throughout the UK for clients such as Beaverbrooks, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Kuoni Travel, Dior, Harrods and many others. He has worked with both Jason and Andy for many years and is an experienced shopfitting site manager and joiner Dave holds all of the accreditations required for his discipline, SMSTS site safety plus, CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA and first aid.
Browns Jewellers established in Johannesburg in 1934 are a family business with a proud heritage of crafting fine jewellery and building relationships appointed JWA Shopfitting Solutions for a new project in Bond Street London. The works to form a pop-up store were set against a very tight timescale to ensure the new store opened in early December 2019. The design brief was developed to create a high quality look and feel for the store in The Royal Arcade, 28 Old Bond Street. Working closely with the Architect Klein Concepts and the client’s Project Manager, JWA completed the store ‘just in time’ for the planned store opening date.
